Isaac playing football. This kid LOVES sports!

Just for fun . . . this is wall art I made from something we normally throw away. Any guesses? It's toilet paper tubes, cut up! After doing this one, I've learned a few things and am planning to make more. It's neat to see free home decor that I made that I actually like!

Isabel's first snow! And at the rate we get snow in Houston, she'll be old enough to remember it next time! Ha ha!

I woke up to this one morning. I know he was using the screwdriver to try to take Manny apart, but it sure looks like Manny had a really bad accident!

Tired boys.

Isabel being weighed at 6 weeks (10 pounds 9 oz.!). I made the little "bag" she's being weighed in. :o)

Watering plants with Welita.

All boy . . . all sports!

We were playing a game of "cuddles" . . . You pretend to be asleep (everyone has to be snoring), and then Isaac will say, "Mmmm . . . boo!!!" When I asked him if he made up this game himself, he told me it came from Little Bear (tv show), but I still haven't figured out which episode. I really think he made it up himself.

Isaac fell asleep with this car on his chest. It cracks me up because he always takes a toy to bed and it's funny to go check on him to see where it winds up!

Peaceful sleeper . . . sweet girl.

Isabel's favorites spot to be . . . snuggled up against your chest.

Isaac fell asleep reading. :o)

Like a fish in water. (Sorry, cliche, I know, but I couldn't resist!)

Isaac and Isabel. So big . . . sigh.

Yes, this is MY husband riding the mechanical bull!!!

Isabel is 2 months old and a VERY happy girl!

Isaac and Megan picking oranges at the "farm" at the carnival.

Isaac's baseball tattoo from the rodeo carnival. He was sad when it rubbed off, so we bought him some Cars tattoos. Now he doesn't want to take a bath because he knows it'll wash off!!!

Carlos carried Isaac to bed and laid him down. In his sleep, Isaac wrapped his arm around Carlos as if to say, "Don't leave yet!"

I've Got to Change the Way I Do This!

So I haven't uploaded photos since November . . . and the pictures I'm posting are from August until now! Oh well, I'm going to upload them all! To see our beautiful Isabel Natalia, born January 13th, just skip on to the January pictures. But be sure to check out the rest, too! Isaac has grown so much! She is a delight, and her Mama, Daddy, and big brother all adore her. Isaac loves to hold her and does so at least once a day, sometimes much, much more!
Grandmother's 96th and Last Birthday Party (she celebrated her 96th birthday on Nov. 13, 2009 and passed away Jan. 6, 2010)
December Pictures (including Isaac's first snow)
Christmas with the Rodriguez Family (I realized when I made this folder that the Rodriguez's always have a camera out when the family is together . . . my side of the family, not so much)
Leo, Julie, and Amelia's Visit (it was so much fun to see Isaac and Amelia play together!)
Harlem Globetrotters Game (this and a Rockets game were Isaac's first basketball games . . . the kid LOVES sports! Football, soccer, baseball, hockey, croquet, basketball, you name it! If it has a ball, he wants to play!)

Now that I've overwhelmed you with pictures, I'm changing the way I blog. I have been posting batches of pictures, but I find that so much is missing when I do that. I plan to start posting pictures right to the blog so that it'll be easy to update the blog more frequently, and I can post captions for pictures. I miss having the time to explain funny things or sweet things. I am hoping that this will help me to post things all the time, and that you'll be able to keep up with the smaller milestones in our family life.

I send out e-mails when the blog is updated. If you don't get them, e-mail me and I'll add you to the list. If I start e-mailing you too often, let me know, and I'll take you off the list and you can check it when you have the time.

OK . . . today's picture. This is why it's better to hold a baby while she sleeps. If I let her, she'd climb right out of this cradle! She's a wiggly one! :o)
